Bob Hughes - Lead
Bob Hughes (bob.hughes@crossroadquartet.com) sings lead for the Cross Road Quartet. Bob was raised on a farm in Chehalis, Washington and grew up singing hymns along with the congregation in church. He learned vocal performance in high school and college and sang in several selective ensembles. In 1996 Bob married Dianne and served as tenor section lead/soloist for First Friends Church in Whittier, CA. Bob, Dianne and children Blake and Katrina moved to Diamond Bar in 2002 and joined the Evangelical Free Church - Jerry Roark’s home church. Jerry recruited Bob after hearing him sing in the Praise and Worship team; the rest, as they say, is history! Bob’s day job involves managing computer programmers for the North Orange County Community College District. He considers himself blessed to be able to share his love of music and his faith in God in the Cross Road Quartet ministry.
